Course Description:

All personnel who become certified in the initial 40 or 24 Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response course must undergo 8 hours of refresher training annually. This course meets the requirements for the additional eight hours required of personnel supervising hazardous waste clean-up operations. This program provides information about the regulations necessary for worker safety, the development, evaluation, and implementation of a medical surveillance program, training requirements, site characterization, the development of a Site Safety Plan, sampling, record keeping, chemical and physical health hazards, excavation, supervisory safety program management strategies and quality assurance. 29 CFR 1910.120 PRE-REQUISTIES: 40 or 24 Hour General Site Worker. This course is not an 8 hour Hazwoper Awareness Course.

Course Length – 8 hours
