Staff Bio - Harvey Whitehead
Mr. Whitehead
has over 30 years experience in emergency response, including
supervision, management, safety and training. His work at
NANA Training Systems includes developing and presenting custom
training programs in industrial safety, emergency response
and environmental protection. Mr. Whitehead also provides
specialized training on-site after consultation.
Mr. Whitehead’s work experience includes Deputy Chief
with the Kuparuk Fire Department, Kuparuk Field Security for
Wackenhut, and 15 years experience as Sergeant with the Portland
Bureau of Police in Portland, OR where he was supervisor for
eight years.
Mr. Whitehead has developed and presented custom training
and compliance programs in industrial safety, emergency response,
and environmental protection. He has also performed fire potential
and other hazard assessments and incident investigations.
Mr. Whitehead is certified as an Alaska Fire Service Instructor
III, Fire Fighter I, HAZMAT Technician, National Fire Academy
Training as Incident, Safety Officer, and Emergency Trauma
Technician. He is also an authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor
and HAZWOPER Instructor. Mr. Whitehead is certified to teach
over 100 safety and health courses. |
